With coach accessories:
Coach Dashie by Nazegoreng

:bulletyellow: Dashie is made from baby blue, cherry red, orange, sunshine, lime, azure and purple minky. Her eyes were embroidered with a Brother Innovis 750D embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software. The eyes were digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. Her hooves contain poly pellets so she can stand well on her own. She is 17 inches to the top of her head, with wire in her wings and tail. Her plush whistle and cap are made from minky. The whistle does up at the back with velcro.

Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.

:bulletyellow: It feels like it's been SO long since I made Dashie. Her commissioner wanted me to really push her as far as show accuracy goes, and I can definitely say that I think she is my most show accurate plush to date. She has some new features, such as sculpted 3d ears (hard to see in photos but the video shows them off). She also has 3d wings which I just love. Her eyes were a custom request to match a particular screenshot.

I am just thrilled with how this plush has come out. I'll be listing her advancements from my first dash in a plush-this-again meme.

:iconbekindsorewind:
I hope you love her!

I think if Hasbro were to make show accurate plushies, they would probably come and ask to buy your patterns for like millions of dollars.

Your plushies are the best one I have seen, I just hope in the future I am a rich guy to buy/commission these plushies from you..

fantastic.

Awwwwwww I'm so glad you like it :D. I pattern the side mane part with paper or paper towels, so you can cut/draw on it and it folds similarly to fabric ^_^.

If I may ask about the ears, do you make and stuff them separately, and then ladder stitch them to the head in place? :? I'm starting to make my own plushies, and the patterns I have of course use the flat ears. I've been observing plush makers who use 3D ears, and that is what it looks like to me anyways. :)

Your plushies are always fantastic by the way, huge inspiration!:heart::heart:

Of course! And I thought so, it seems like the best way! I want to eventually try it myself, so I took a close look at your stitching to see if I could figure out how you did it. :)

Another question I seem to have problems finding answers for, how do you keep the tails from sagging? I have seen/heard so many ways to do it, and the tutorial I read didn't help me at all. I made my tail separately, stuffed it, then ladder stitched it to the butt. But even when I tried to add some stitches higher up the tail, it still sagged and flopped. :T

For really heavy tails I run a piece of strong wire inside the tail, and into the butt/spine of the pony. Then strong ladder stitch in place. Bend the wire upwards into a slight  'U' shape to help hold it :). Also pin the tail in the position you want it (even if it takes HEAPS of pins to hold it there) then sew strongly in place

Ah, okay! I was following a tutorial that called for sewing up the butt entirely, so there was no way I could have added the wire into it. Would you think that a wire hangar would be strong enough? I have a really hard time cutting and bending them, so I figure it would be able hold up a plush tail. xD The other wires I use are thinner and I use them for my sculptures, so they bend easier.

Do you have the wire "free floating" in the body/tail, or do you adhere or stitch it in place somehow?

So sorry about asking a million questions, it's just so hard to get some of these answered! DDD': And judging by your skills, you'd definitely be able to give the best tips! ;u;

ahh np I never mind answering questions to lovely people who ask ^_^.

Hanger wire would be fine. I sew my plush fully closed too and then mark where the tail is going to go. Then get a small pair of scizzors and make a tiny snip in the centre of where the tail will cover, just enough to push the wire through. I let it free float but just feel as i'm pushing it in so that it doesn't go to the outside edges of the plush. If you can push it into the centre you won't feel it. Also make a little bend on the end of the wire (bend it in on itself) so there are no sharp edges :)

Good to know, because I tend to ask a lot of questions when I'm interested in learning something new! xD; And how nice of you consider me lovely, haha! :'D

Okay, I'll see how that works out! I'm just using the patterns I bought from valleyviolet since I'm really not sure how to make my own, and currently making a Fluttershy. Since her tail is so big, I'll see how the wire works out for her! <3 And you snip the thread on the seam? Does the ladder stitch from the tail keep the hole from tearing the whole plush apart from where you cut it? Or am I wrong and you snip the fabric NEXT to the seam?

I snip the fabric just next to the seam :). The tail base will be large enough to cover a decent circle :). Minky wont tear if you don't cut the seam ^_^.
