Fluttershy Custom Plush

:bulletyellow: Fluttershy is made from yellow and pink minky. Her eyes and cutiemark were embroidered with a Brother Innovis 750D embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software. The eyes were designed and digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. Her hooves contain poly pellets, and she has wire in her wings. She is 17 inches to the top of her head, not including her ears and hair.

Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.

:bulletyellow: This girl is too cute for words. I'll certainly be sad to see her go.

:bulletyellow: Fluttershy is available for sale on ebay for the next week. Good luck to bidders! I hope she goes to a loving home.

Hi Naze. I'm looking to buy some cuddle-minky from Plush Addict- and was wondering if you could tell me what shades of pink/yellow you used for Fluttershy? ; ) That's only if you remember!
She's adorable- btw. I hope you get a chance to do another 'Shy one day!

Fantastic! I cannot wait to see~ Are you also thinking about doing a Flutterbat? She's on my to-do list~ <333
Ah, thank you so much! I'm going to invest in the sample card when I make my first order... *crosses fingers* But first I've got to get my own 'pattern' (which is the most basic thing you've ever seen) somewhat decent~ XDD

Out of curiosity, how do you form the mouths on yours? Do you just stitch the interior then turn it inside out, or do you use a bit of needle sculpting, or something else? I'm always surprised by the number of ways I've seen people do the mouths.

I use needle sculpting for my mouths :). Lets me give them a bit of an indent.

AAAHH! Cutie!! One question. Are you going to stop selling your adorable sculptures? I'll be sad to see them go. Your plushies are beautiful of course, but your crafts were really something different. . Ah well. C'est la vie. Keep doing whatever makes you happy!! ; w ;

I'm definitely going to be doing more sculptures, so don't worry! I just have very limited time at the moment, as I'm a full time student. Plushes are much easier for me to make (I can work on them at nighttime), so I've been focussing on them rather than the sculpts. I'll be making sure to make more sculpted ponies when I have finished my studies though :).

Once again, a very, very nice plush. Great how you maintain some of the character in the plush design. Also the way you crossed the front part of the mane over the back part made me realise I was probably going to do it wrong on a needle felt I'm working on.

I'm so glad you like her. I didn't originally intend to make the mane cross, but it ended up working out well when I placed it like that.

Sometimes, I feel like I need to get into the plushie business. Plushies this good must make such a profit.

It's pretty awesome if you can make something of a really high standard. I also spent $4k in equipment and software to be able to do this, so if you are going to get into it consider the initial investment. I also did 13 tests of my pattern to get it to where I was happy to sell. Each test probably took me 6-9 hrs.

Dear Celestia, that's a lot of work! I can see why the plushie costs so much then. Assuming each test took 7.5 hours and each plushie you make takes 13 tests and the plushie sells for $400 (though for your sake I hope it sells higher!)... I guess that's not quite the profit margin I expected, especially considering the supplies. No wonder they sell so high, that's quite the craftsmanship!

I totally envy the skill of artists like you.
