Rarity was made from a Shining Armour base. She was sculpted in super sculpey and painted in high quality acrylics, sealed with mod podge. Her accessories were hand made from Sculpey III. came up with the great idea of making Rarity in her yellow dress from Sweet and Elite. My favourite MLP episode! A big thanks for her for coming up with the great idea, I certainly wouldn't have by myself. This has to be one of my favourite customs. Maybe I'm bias because Rarity is my favourite pony, but I really love her. Her flowers were lots of fun to make, and overall I think she is beautiful. I did my best to give her a show accurate mane and tail too, her tail is show accurate from both sides. I also painted her hair alternate colours and hand painted the gradients on the warm purple side of the hair. . I can't wait to see how Vinyl Scratch turns out. It was a pleasure making her for you.
