Small Plushes (10-12")
$750-$1500 AUSTRALIAN

Q. What is a commission?
A. A commission is a custom order that I make for you. The commission is paid for via paypal. I do not take requests or make work for free.

Q. Can I commission you now?
A. I only open for 10 or so custom orders every 6 months, so am usually closed for them. Commercial work may be requested at any time and can disregard commission opening dates.

Q. How do I get a commission?
A. When commissions open (usually over a pre-announced date every 6 mnths) you can send me a private message on any of my social media pages (or here on Deviantart). The information you need to send me is listed below. I will only choose a small handful of projects to work on, so you are not guaranteed that I will be able to make a plush for you. You must get a quote before requesting a commission

Q. How do I get a quote?
A.
Send me a private message/dm anytime on DA or social media (preferably not instagram) with what you are after, size and any reference images that go along with the character. Please be patient as I only answer quotes once or twice a week at most.
Keep in mind that quotes only last 6 months, so if you are planning to commission in a time past that point, consider that prices may change or you may be better off getting a quote closer to that time.

Q. Is there a way to guarantee a commission?
A. Yes! You need to secure a $50 slot on my patreon during the month that commissions open (and make sure that the reward is selected). Only 5 commissions can be reserved this way, and if these are already taken, then that's it!

Some people will sponsor the $50 tier for months in advance, to make sure that noone else can claim their guaranteed spot. Sponsoring the $50 tier any month before the month commissions open DOES NOT guarantee a commission. Only the month that commissions are open does this.

Commercial work may be requested at any time and can disregard the above limitations.

Q. Is there anything I need to do before I ask for a commission?
A.
Yes! You need to get a quote before you request a commission.

Please read ALL of my terms and conditions before requesting a commission or a quote. If you do not agree with them, do not commission me.

HOW TO REQUEST A COMMISSION (when open)

If you would like a spot, send me a note (when commissions are open) including the following:

- What plush you would like (including any pre discussed details). Do not add details or accessories we have not discussed/quoted for.
- Reference image/s if it is an OC (written description is not enough)
- What size you would like it to be (small, medium or large) (Ponies come at standard sizes of 17" for mares, 19" for stallions and 11" for fillies and colts)
- Any other pre discussed accessories or details
- What eye expression you want (including references if necessary).
-What price I quoted you when you asked for one. This is VERY important. I will check my sent msgs if I feel the price is made up, but I would rather not have to.
- Your paypal address
- Your full name
- Your postal address

I will now be selecting the commissions I want to accept by hand (excluding those reserved by patreon). I will choose the projects that appeal to me most, and that I feel I can do the best possible job on.

What is "commercial work"?
Is that something like a company hiring you to make a plush of their mascot or brand?

If someone were to get a 6 ft life sized plush, could you ship without stuffing to save room?

Also where do you get your fabrics? Considering making the 6 ft plush myself but I need correct colors.

Unfortulatey not. Giant plush need a lot of internal structure and special techniques to make look good/support themselves.
I get my minky from fabric.com

Almost 5 years now, and fulltime for over 3. I use minky for my plush :). Keep in mind that even I can take 5-15 fully sewn tests to create a final product, so don't give up if something doesn't look great straight off

Yeah patterning is pretty much the entire process/difficulty of it. I've been making my own patterns for years now, so generally have an idea on how to make them. They are almost always done from scratch, and I draw them up in photoshop. I print em myself and just break it up onto many pieces of paper and tape it together if a piece is too large. It usually comes down to a tonne of testing. Make a pattern, test it, modify, retest. Repeat 5-15+ times for each part haha

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. And what others spend their money on is none of your business either =3

Why not be excited someone can make money off of their art, much like the original masters did? Be excited this is a new Era in art, almost a new renaissance. Because others making money from their art, means YOU have a chance to make money from yours, given your willingness to put the time and effort into it like Naz has.

So instead of being salty, go do something productive, like improving your own art.

-please pardon my wall of text-

Agree with you 100% Ivory-Bolt. And just not just the effort put into it, but people really don't have an understanding of the material cost of a plush. Fabric is NOT cheap. Thread, machine up-keep, sewing needles & thimbles, etc - none of that is cheap. All of the cost + the effort has to go into the price for art.
Market plushies are cheap because they're factory-made, and usually horrible quality depending on the company. But even a Build-a-Bear plush is more expensive than something from Toys R Us.

But at the end of the day, if you're not interested in something, move along. If you see someone at a vendor hall - or even a store in a mall - you're not going to go up to them and say "you're out of your mind, your prices are ridiculous". Folks around you would be unnerved by your rudeness.
The same goes here. Why comment and tell someone their prices are too high? People obviously want these plushies SO MUCH that not only has Nazegoreng not needed to lower her prices, but commission slots fill up EVERY time they open. And almost ALL the Patreon $50+ tiers are taken because they'll secure a spot.

If it's not broken, don't fix it. Nazegoreng is a wonderful human being, with an extraordinary talent - a talent that has been practiced and bettered over years of hard work. She has wonderful customer service, and an amazing amount of joy to add to the world through plushies and just by being herself. She deserves every cent earned, and no one deserves to say otherwise.

YES. I just spend over $60 on a yard and a half of faux fur for some accents on a plush, I have 2 machines that total would be around 1k new, not to mention the thread, scissors, needles, upkeep, and so on.

Naz has an amazing gift, one that is worth 5k. Especially since a life size plush is huge. Like people don't even understand HOW huge. If I had the money right now, I'd be on that so fast. I don't munderstand paying for quality custom pieces.

Know what? Go fuck yourself.

"What others spend their money on is none of your business." Well with that kind of thinking nobody would ever try to make anything of their talents. Don't EVER comment on my posts again.

It just baffles me that artists would tear each other down, when we should be supporting each other as best we can =/
